The significance of the eighth day of Navratri - Mahagauri form

नवरात्र अब अपने अंतिम पड़ाव पर पहुंच चुका है। आज मां दुर्गा के आठवें स्वरूप आदि शक्ति महागौरी की पूजा की जाती है। आठवें दिन की पूजा देवी के मूल भाव को दर्शाता है। देवीभगवत् पुराण में बताया गया है कि देवी मां के 9 रूप और 10 महाविघाएं सभी आदिशक्ति के अंश और स्वरूप हैं लेकिन भगवान शिव के साथ उनके अर्धांगिनी के रूप में महागौरी सदैव विराजमान रहती हैं।

(Navratri has now reached its final stage. Today Adi Shakti Mahagauri, the eighth form of Maa Durga, is worshipped. The worship of the eighth day reflects the motif of the goddess. It has been told in Devi Bhagvat Purana that the 9 forms and 10 Mahavighas of Mother Goddess are all parts and forms of Adishakti, but Mahagauri always resides with Lord Shiva as her Ardhangini.)

सहस्त्राचक्र पर अनुसंधान चल रहा है, कालरात्रि के बाद अब महागौरी की बारी है। विद्या तथा अविद्या माया के बीच का संघर्ष ही नवरात्रि है। प्रारंभ में अविद्या का प्रभाव होता है, बाद में धीरे धीरे विद्या माया अपनी गोद साधक को उठा लेती है। नवरात्रि का आठवां दिन महागौरी अर्थात आदिशक्ति का चित्रण है।

(Research is going on on Sahastrachakra, after Kalratri, now it is the turn of Mahagauri. Navratri is the struggle between Vidya and Avidya Maya. In the beginning there is effect of Avidya, later gradually Vidya Maya lifts the sadhaka in her lap. The eighth day of Navratri depicts Mahagauri i.e. Adishakti.)

सत्यलोक में सातवें दिन कालरात्रि के रुप में अहम तत्व पर अनुसंधान करता है आज महततत्व पर अनुसंधान है। बुद्धि तत्व अथवा महततत्व वस्तुतः मनुष्य है। शेष सभी उसके उपकरण है, जिसे अन्त:करण कहते है। मनुष्य का यह रुप शिव के सबसे अधिक नजदीक है।

(On the seventh day in Satyalok, research is done on the important element (Ahamtatv) in the form of Kalratri, today there is research on the important element (mahattatv) . Intellectual element or Mahatattva is actually human. All the rest are his instruments, which are called antarkaran. This form of man is closest to Shiva.)

जैसा कि हमने नवरात्रि पर आध्यात्मिक गुप्त रहस्य को समझने का प्रयास किया तो हमने जाना कि शैलपुत्री मुमुक्षु का जड़तम रुप है, वहाँ मोक्ष नाम वृत्ति मुमुक्षु को अंत: जगत की खिंचती है। ब्रह्मचारिणी जड़ पर ब्रह्मभाव का निरुपण है। चन्द्रघंटा तत्व शोधन का प्रतीक चिन्ह है। कूष्माण्डा प्राणायाम स्कंदमाता चक्र शोधन है तथा कात्यायनी ध्यान, कालरात्रि सविकल्प, महागौरी निविकल्प समाधि का संकल्प पत्र है। सिद्धिदात्री मुक्ति तथा विजयदशमी मोक्ष की अवधारणा समझाती है।

(As we tried to understand the spiritual secret on Navratri, we came to know that Shailputri is the root form of Mumukshu, there the instinct called Moksha attracts Mumukshu to the inner world. Brahmacharini is the representation of Brahmabhava on the root. Chandraghanta is a symbol of element purification. Kushmanda Pranayama is the purification of Skandmata chakra and Katyayani meditation, Kalratri Savikalpa, Mahagauri is the resolution letter of Nivikalpa Samadhi. Siddhidatri explains the concept of liberation and Vijayadashami salvation.)
